BH Live (Leisure, International Venues & Events) is a new leisure and cultural trust, Limited by Guarantee (with charity commission pending), responsible for the management and operation of venues and facilities in Bournemouth including the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC), Bournemouth Pavilion, Littledown Centre, Pelhams Park Leisure Centre, Stokewood Leisure Centre, Sir David English Sports Centre & Kinson Swimming Pool.
BH Live has been established for public benefit, as a ‘non profit distributing organisation’ (NPDO) to promote participation in leisure, arts, culture and heritage through the provision of venues and facilities to residents, communities, businesses and visitors.
The principles of BH Live are to generate:
More Participation – through the provision of leisure facilities to encourage active communities and enhance health & well-being
Higher Audiences – through the provision of a diverse range of cultural and artistic events
Great Economic Benefit – through hosting major conference, exhibitions & events for the benefit the local and regional economy
