BH Live Access Card

BH Live operates the ‘BH Live Access Card’ a scheme available to people who are on a low income.

What is the BH Live Access Card?

The BH Live Access Card offers a range of discounts at the Littledown Centre, Pelhams Park Leisure Centre, Stokewood Leisure Centre and Sir David English Sports Centre.

It is valid for one year after which it can be renewed providing the eligibility criteria are met.

The card is free of charge and is available to those in receipt of one or more of the following benefits (see below)

Are you eligible for a BH Live Access Card?

You are eligible for a BH Live Access Card if you are in receipt of one or more of the following benefits:

Income Support
Income Based Job Seekers Allowance (IBJSA)
Income Related Employment & Support Allowance
Housing Benefit
Council Tax Benefit
Pension Credit
Attendance Allowance
Disability Living Allowance
Disabled Persons Tax Credit
Incapacity Benefit
Industrial Injuries Benefit
War Disablement Pension
Carers Allowance
Signed pro forma letter from your GP which states that you meet the DDA definition of a disabled person

Dependant Children
Children of the BH Live Access Card holder (aged 15 years & under) are also eligible for their own card (under 8 year olds will be included on their parents/guardians card).

How to apply for a BH Live Access Card

Please apply in person at Customer Service at the Littledown Centre, Pelhams Park Leisure Centre, Stokewood Leisure Centre or Sir David English Sports Centre (your photograph will be taken for your card)

Please bring your proof of eligibility (original documents) with you.

Once your details and photograph have been taken and your eligibility checked, you will be issued with your BH Live Access Card which you can start to enjoy.

I already have a Bournemouth Borough Council Freestyle Priority Card (Blue Card)
Do I need to change to a BH Live Access Card?

Yes, to use the Littledown Centre, Pelhams Park Leisure Centre, Stokewood Leisure Centre or Sir David English Sports Centre please show your current Freestyle Priority Card (Blue Card) at Customer Service and you will be issued with a BH Live Access Card valid to the same date as the Freestyle Card.

The Bournemouth Borough Council Freestyle Card will continue to be valid at all other attractions listed in the Bournemouth Leisure Directory (Seafront, Golf, Bowls & Tennis)
