PETER GUNN
Chief Executive
Prior to be appointed as BH Live’s first Chief Executive, Peter was Managing Director of the Bournemouth International Centre and Pavilion. He has over 20 years management experience in a number of the UK’s multi-faceted sport, leisure, entertainment and event venues. This has involved roles covering operations, marketing, commercial, event, project and general management. During his time at the BIC and Pavilion the venues experienced significant business growth and in 2008 the BIC was a finalist in the AIPC World’s Best Congress Centre Award. Prior to this Peter was General Manager of the award winning Guildford Spectrum, the largest leisure and entertainment complex of its type in the UK. During his 10 years in the post he led the organisation to the UK’s highest rated centre within Quest (quality award for sport and leisure) and an ‘Excellent’ Best Value rating.

JITENDRA CHAUHAN
Director of Finance and Corporate Services
Jitendra is responsible for financial, legal and statutory reporting alongside divisional responsibility for finance, IT, administration and supporting functions. He plays a key role in advising the Executive Team and Board of Trustees on the organisation’s financial performance, governance and risk management, as well as supporting the management team in maximising the performance of the venues and facilities operated by BH Live. Jitendra has extensive senior level finance and operational experience within the leisure, event, entertainment and hospitality sectors including the London Aquarium and County Hall Events, London.

STEVE PIPER
Head of Venues
Steve leads the BH Live Venues Division (currently the Bournemouth International Centre and Pavilion), and is responsible for the overall performance of the venues including developing cultural events, conferencing, operations, sales and marketing. He works closely with the Executive Management Team and the Board of Trustees, and is actively involved in developing town partnerships and representing BH Live on national industry bodies and forums. Steve has extensive experience of the conference, exhibition and entertainment sectors as well as valuable commercial, programming and operational experience of major venues. Steve was Managing Director at the Brighton Centre for twelve years, he also spent eleven years at the Brighton Dome Theatre and Arts Complex, five of which as General Manager. Steve spent the early part of his career working in theatre and entertainment.

PETER BROWN
Head of Leisure
Peter has worked in the leisure industry since 1983 undertaking a whole range of different roles from lifeguard through to his current position of Head of Leisure for BH Live leading the teams at the Littledown Centre, Pelhams Park Leisure Centre, Stokewood Leisure Centre and Sir David English Sports Centre. Peter was part of the team that opened the Littledown Centre in 1989 and apart from a period of 2 years in the mid 1990s working with private leisure facility operator, Peter has been involved with leisure in Bournemouth helping to establish Littledown Centre as one of the Country’s leading facilities with over 25,000 visits per week and ranked at No. 2 in Sport England’s Quest quality accreditation scheme of nearly 1000 leisure facilities.
