BOURNEMOUTH INTERNATIONAL CENTRE (BIC) - Celebrating 25 years as one of the UK’s premier Conference, Exhibition and Entertainment venues, offering the largest licensed capacity on the South Coast, of up to 10,000 visitors. Centrally situated, overlooking the sea, the BIC boasts 4 main auditoria with the flexibility for multi-hall conventions to smaller, more intimate meetings and concerts featuring major internationally-renowned artistes. It also houses a seasonal Ice Rink attracting over 80,000 visits each year. |

PAVILION THEATRE AND BALLROOM - A traditional 1920’s Theatre seating 1028 patrons on a raked floor, plus a further 420 in the circle and also featuring a 1929 Compton Concert Pipe Organ. The elegant ballroom provides an exquisite backdrop for banquets (x660), receptions (x900) and dance and cultural events, meetings and exhibitions. The Pavilion Dance Centre will open in 2010 following a £3.2m investment and will be operated by Dance South West in partnership with the Trust. | |

LITTLEDOWN CENTRE - Opened in 1989, the Centre has been ranked as one of the top performing leisure facilities in the UK by Sport England. The centre offers a 25m swimming pool, a 17m teaching pool, waterslides, splash pool, luxury spa, steam rooms, sauna, spa baths and samarium. The ‘dry’ facilities include a large sports hall used for trampolining, badminton, table tennis, football, gymnastics, a specialist gym for 8 – 13 year olds, aerobic studios, a spinning studio with 16 bikes and an Ofsted registered crèche. The equally impressive outdoor facilities offer 6 floodlit artificial training pitches, 47 acres of parkland, a cricket pitch and pavilion, 2 lakes, a paddling pool, mini grass football pitches, a leisure orienteering course and parking for 875 cars. |

PELHAMS PARK LEISURE CENTRE - A mere 5 years old and acquired in 2009 from ROKO, the Centre in North Bournemouth provides a 100 work-station gym, 2 aerobic studios and spinning studio with 21 bikes. Outdoors, there are 8 floodlit artificial training pitches, grass football pitches and 3 tennis courts. Major investment is planned for 2010 to further upgrade and increase the indoor facilities to include 2 swimming pools, a sanarium, new changing facilities and an additional multi function studio. | |

STOKEWOOD LEISURE CENTRE - Located just to the north of the town centre, Stokewood opened in 1930. In 2008 the Centre was awarded a Highly Commended status from QUEST quality accreditation scheme, scoring 80%. The Centre offers a 25 yard swimming pool, sauna and venue for children’s swimming parties. The aerobics studio provides over 60 classes per week and there is a recently refurbished Gymnasium facility with 41 work stations, with a spinning studio with 18 bikes. The Centre also offers a fitness assessment and personal training service and enjoys an excellent relationship with Bournemouth University and local schools. | |

SIR DAVID ENGLISH SPORTS CENTRE - Just 10 years old and under Council management since 2005, the centre offers a large sports hall with 8 courts for badminton, football, trampolining etc, a gym with 30 work stations, sauna and steam room. A new multi-functional studio –the Hub Room – opened in 2007. Outdoors there are 3 x 6-a-side artificial training pitches, 8 netball/4 tennis courts. |

KINSON SWIMMING POOL - Opened in July 1969 and is located in North Bournemouth. Over 1000 weekly visits are made which consist of local school pupils, clubs, over 300 adults and children on swimming lessons through the Bournemouth Swimming Academy, participants in aqua classes and swimming parties. Kinson Swimming Pool will be demolished in late 2010 on completion of the alterations to Pelhams Park Leisure Centre. |
